Local Health Equity Action Team (LHEAT) Update! 
We’re excited to announce that LHEAT has successfully completed Year 1 of the REACH (Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health) Grant! 
October 1 marked the start of Year 2, and we’re continuing our work focused on Physical Activity, Healthy Eating, and Breastfeeding.
October 1 marked the start of Year 2, and we’re continuing our work focused on Physical Activity, Healthy Eating, and Breastfeeding.Our team is eager to dive deeper into how health policies can create long-term change and positively impact our community’s well-being. We’ll be reaching out to some amazing speakers to provide training for LHEAT members, local businesses, and anyone interested in learning more about the benefits of these policies.
We’re also looking to connect with local businesses that already have policies in place promoting physical activity, breastfeeding, or healthy eating. If your organization has a policy like this, or if you’re interested in learning more, please reach out—we’d love to hear from you!
