We had a great Coalition meeting yesterday!
So much great information was shared from our partners:
Finney County Health Department gave an update on the measles outbreak and announced that drive-through testing will begin soon. Follow their page for the latest updates.
Beth from LiveWell presented on Naloxone and how to administer it during an opioid overdose emergency. Interested in a full training for your team or organization? Reach out—we’d love to help.
Andrea from Celebrate Recovery shared about the free support services they offer through the Nazarene Church. Classes are held Wednesday and Sunday evenings—contact the church directly for more info.
Isabel from Community Corrections highlighted their free youth programs available through parental, school, or court-based referrals. They’re also looking for volunteers for emergency youth placements—reach out if you’re interested in helping out.
The Community Health Needs Assessment is happening now through April 30. If your organization would like to host a key informant focus group, contact LiveWell to schedule.
