🌿 LiveWell Finney County Awarded Pathways to a Healthy Kansas Grant

LiveWell Finney County was awarded the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas Pathways to a Healthy Kansas grant in December 2024! This initiative supports sustainable, long-term improvements that make healthy living more accessible for everyone.

Through Pathways, LiveWell has partnered with St. Catherine Hospital – Garden City to complete the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP). Beth Koksal recently met with other Pathways communities to share best practices and communication strategies to strengthen local efforts.

Finney County’s selected Pathways packages include:

  • 🏃‍♀️ Youth Physical Activity
  • 🥫 Food Pantry Expansion
  • 👩‍🍳 Community Kitchen Hub
  • 🚶 Trail Improvements

🏀 Health Equity Action Team Scores Big at Ayala Park

The Local Health Equity Action Team (LHEAT) recently installed new basketball nets at Ayala Park, revitalizing a key community recreation space. Special thanks to Britney Martin for leading this project and promoting active, healthy living for all residents .
