This Week’s LiveWell Newsletter

Building Resilient Communities & Lasting Change

This week’s LiveWell Finney County newsletter highlights an exciting milestone for our team—Callie and Beth proudly represented Finney County as part of the Kansas delegation at the CADCA National Leadership Forum in Washington, D.C.

With more than 4,000 prevention leaders from across the country in attendance, the conference focused on youth leadership, emerging drug and tobacco trends, coalition effectiveness, and advocacy at the federal level. A major highlight included SAMHSA Prevention Day and Capitol Hill Day, where Kansas coalition leaders and youth met with federal staff to share real stories from our communities and advocate for continued prevention funding.

Back at home, we’re also celebrating World Cancer Day alongside our partners at Leave a Legacy Foundation and sharing heart-healthy tips just in time for Valentine’s Day. From advocacy to prevention to community partnerships, this week’s newsletter reflects the many ways LiveWell is working to improve the health, well-being, and safety of southwest Kansas.
