Finney County Opioid Task Force to Host Finney County Opioid Summit
Live Well Finney County and the Finney County Opioid Task Force will host the Finney County Opioid Summit from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Garden City High School, 2720 Buffalo Way Blvd., Garden City, Kansas.
Keynote presentations will be presented by Tony Mattivi, Director of the Kansas Bureau of Investigations and DJ Gering with the CDC Foundation. The summit will feature several breakout sessions on Medication Assisted Treatment, Naloxone, Prosecution of Opioid Related Crimes in Kansas, Drug Endangered Children, as well as many prevention opportunities offered by local organizations. A panel of treatment professionals will be offered over the lunch hour and lunch will be provided.

Finney County Opioid Task Force was founded in 2018. Members include Garden City Police Department, Finney County Sheriff, Finney County Health Department, USD 457, Finney County Corrections, Finney County EMS, Genesis Family Health, Centura- St. Catherine Hospital, Compass Behavioral Health and LiveWell Finney County.
